DLI reflects the 90:10 model where the instructional day consists of 90% Spanish and 10% English in
Transitional Kindergarten (TK) and Kindergarten. English Instruction increases by 10% each year until 3rd grade. In 4th-12th grades, they are instructed in both English and Spanish at 50/50 percent.
